Can we still enjoy caviar with a good conscience?
Not if the caviar comes from the Caspian Sea. There the sturgeon population has declined by more than 90%. Soon there will be no sturgeons left. WWF predicts that will happen before 2012. In addition one has to know that the Caspian Sea is heavily polluted. Not only with oil but also with nuclear waste. Caviar is a matter of trust but also a matter of conscience and common sense.
